Driven by the infinite possibility of AI including "Stock Analysis" 📊 plus my soccer ⚽︎

Wilson Duan is a 9th grader with serious achievements already under his belt. 📣

When Wilson joined our Foster City summer camp last July, Wisen knew instantly he was very intense and driven by the desire to code a perfect solution. 💥For example, he needed two monitors to check his extra complicated features so Wisen happily gave our 2nd laptop. (For the record, Wilson is the only camper in Wisen’s numerous camp history who demanded two laptops during the lecture. 😂)

After the camp, Wilson decided to join Wisen’s advanced regular course at Palo Alto which meant he had to commute from Foster City to Palo Alto every weekend. And little did we know that he has been commuting back and forth for more than 7months so far. 🚙 Wilson particularly enjoyed our advanced courses which involved inevitably advanced math skills and logical thinking such as Algorithm class and AI class.

Every weekend, Wilson showed up wearing his soccer ⚽️ outfit after his soccer game and tournament during the day. So we naturally assumed he will be exhausted during our 3hour class (from 6 to 9pm) but we couldn’t have been more wrong! 🙊He was razor sharp in his inquiry and always challenged the class and himself to find a better solution.

While Wilson has been extremely busy with his passion and love for (math, soccer and programming), we found he married his two passions during our winter first AI course. 🙆🏻‍♀️Namely, it was “Stock investment” using AI technology and math skills. As part of Wisen exclusive curriculum, Wisen encourages each student to pick his or her own project based on what they have learned and present it during 7th class (the last class). And that’s what he did!

Now, it is high time to reveal why Wisen is so thrilled about this particular coding portfolio story (Wilson’s Wisen programming journey ). Wilson is the student keynote speaker for our upcoming SVTTT (Silicon Valley Teen Tech Talk Series 2) event at Cubberley Community Center in June 6th with the theme (Coding with Finance). Can anyone guess what will be his topic? 🤓 Yes! you got it. He will share why he is so enthusiastic about his current “Stock investment with AI” project . So don’t wait too long as the seating is limited and first come first serve policy applies for this event. 🔜🔜🔜Registration- (https://school.wisen.space/svttt.html).
