Selina Sun joined Wisen even before Wisen officially launched 😲last July. From the very first session, Wisen could sense easily Selina will charter her own way of her coding journey. Also Wisen thought Selina might get bored after our first session as she was a quick thinker. 😅

So in that sense, Selina has been one of Wisen’s founding members or shall we say "Wisen’s founding student". 👩🏻‍🎓And during one year, Selina has literally grown up right in front of our eyes, not just physically but gigantic leap in her programming skills and comprehensive understanding on fundamentals. For instance, now she knows for sure "append the Child" means "not offend child" even though it sounds like it when you hear first time as an non-programmer. 😂

However, don’t let this giggly and sharp wit Selina fool you when it comes to programming.🙃Selina always strives for most elegant design and style in her programming styles such as her web space font choice. 👏

Wisen and the class had so much “giggles” when we lecture these funny sound coding terms such as “appendchild” and “removeChild”. 🤣 ~ Selina’s “to do” app JS code she has programmed last year

Along with her increasingly improved coding skills, Selina found a new passion and talent 🙋🏻‍♀️And which is presentation and public speech. She participated in group presentation during Wisen’s multiplayer group night at Cubberley in March and performed splendidly in front of the audience. 👍

During our AI & Python winter break coding camp at Foster City, Selina won the most creative presentation award during final project competition day. 🥇Parents came to the camp project presentation day and voted Selina as most successful presenter of her AI project .

Wisen was not sure how her coding journey and learning will blossom up until recently (for the last few months when she was given public presentation opportunities and she wowed the audience). It seems like her confidence in coding bubbled up so naturally after one year of consistent training with Wisen. 🔝

For now, Selina is busy with her Zombsroyale session 3 (spring session) with her team on Tuesday evening and Wisen is very happy to see her bursting giggles and jokes during our class. No complain about that at all!😂Go Selina! Go ✌️
