Ryan Yun has been anything but ordinary🌠ever since he joined Wisen last fall or before he even joined Wisen!
First, we met Ryan through the referral last fall. To be honest, Wisen got little hesitant to enroll him due to his age (3rd grade).😯 So we set up an interview with Ryan and Ryan’s mom to assess his level (we heard he was really good already in spite of his young age such as using “GitHub”) and to meet this unusual “programmer” 👨🏻💻out of sheer curiosity.
And the rest was just legendary since the interview last fall. He just blew up our shameful bias about coding with certain age. In essence, he was as good as his unbelievable reputation.👍 Most astonishing though about Ryan is not his exceptional programming skills for his age but his insatiable desire and appetite for coding.🔥
Ryan broke the record in many fronts including Wisen’s youngest hackathon participant in last November and also has been joining our weekly Tuesday “Zombsroyale” class with older graders.💥 And just very recently, he also went through rigorous but fantastic public speech training with “Zombsroyale” team and presented his part so proudly and successfully during “Multiplayer game presentation” night at Cubberley Community Center.🎙
Ryan truly exemplifies Wisen’s Coding Portfolio Story in every aspects! Not only did he learn coding with a passion but also he applied to what he wanted to share with others (Website and its technologies).👏 By the way, little secret about Ryan’s expectation about Wisen when he came to our coding class first time- very low but after the class, Wisen did meet his expectations.😂
Wisen is “SO” looking forward to his next amazing Coding Portfolio Story of course.🙆🏻♀️
